OXICOM finalized the commissioning jobs at ultraviolet disinfection system in O´Grove WWTP. With a design flow of 1000 m3 / h, Oxicom installed an optimized vertical UV disinfection system. This system consists of three disinfection modules with 40 lamps each one, with a total of 120 lamps. Vertical lamp technology is one of the most important developments in our group, allowing the operator significant savings in operating costs. The installed equipment comply international standards and have Bioassay validation, ensuring the treatment results. The control system reduces energy consumption significantly because it regulates the rows of lamps depending on the flow rate or water quality.
